Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No — ByteKit uses pdf-lib and PDF.js which run entirely in your browser. Your PDF file never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.
What is the difference between Remove and Extract?
Remove Pages deletes the selected pages and downloads the remaining pages as a new PDF. Extract Pages creates a new PDF containing only the selected pages.
What is the maximum file size?
ByteKit supports PDF files up to 50MB. For larger files the processing may be slower depending on your device's memory and processing power.
Can I use page ranges?
Yes — use the "By Page Range" tab and enter ranges like 1-3,5,7-9 to select specific pages without clicking each one individually.
